Publications Advisory Committee

The Pub­li­ca­tions Advi­so­ry Committee advis­es the Board of Direc­tors and the Direc­tor of Pub­li­ca­tions on all pub­li­ca­tion-relat­ed activ­i­ties of the Soci­ety, includ­ing the jour­nal, annu­al pub­li­ca­tion for the nation­al con­ven­tion and mono­graphs on sub­jects relat­ed to the organ pub­lished under the imprint of the Society.

Membership and Development Committee

The pur­pose of the Mem­ber­ship and Devel­op­ment Committee is to assist the Chief Exec­u­tive Offi­cer with mem­ber­ship ser­vices and fund-rais­ing activ­i­ties. The Mem­ber­ship and Devel­op­ment Committee shall pro­mote the main­te­nance and growth of the OHS mem­ber­ship, encour­age con­tri­bu­tions to the OHS of mis­cel­la­neous, restrict­ed, and endowed funds, seek foun­da­tion and gov­ern­ment grants for the Soci­ety, assist with plan­ning and imple­ment­ing a cap­i­tal cam­paign, and pro­vide an annu­al report for the Board on OHS devel­op­ment efforts.

Library and Archives Advisory Committee

Chair: Willis Bridegam

The pri­ma­ry pur­pose of the Organ His­tor­i­cal Soci­ety (OHS) Library and Archives Advi­so­ry Committee is to guide and sup­port the OHS Board of Direc­tors and archival staff in pre­serv­ing and grow­ing the world’s most com­pre­hen­sive col­lec­tion of resources ded­i­cat­ed to the his­to­ry, con­struc­tion, and music of the pipe organ. The advi­so­ry committee pro­vides over­sight and strate­gic rec­om­men­da­tions across sev­er­al key areas: col­lec­tion devel­op­ment, preser­va­tion stan­dards, research, access, grants, and outreach.
