Notes: According to the E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, compiled by Allen Kinzey and Sand Lawn and available through the OHS, the organ was originally Skinner Organ Co. Op. 653, which was installed in St. John's Episcopal Church, Lafayette Square, Washington DC, in 1928. Skinner moved 653 to St. Martin's and replaced the organ in the DC church with his own job. But, the DC job turned out so badly (the organist supplied old slider windchests) that Skinner refused to put his name on the organ. It was replaced by a Gress-Miles in 1962.
