  Notes

The first organ in the Edwin M. Knowles home in Newell, WV (even though listed as East Liverpool, OH, which is where Knowles formerly lived). It was tubular-pneumatic, feeders being powered by a water motor, and it was said to have cost $3500.00. The organ was moved by Estey when Mr. Knowles purchased #2055 and relocated to the Masonic Temple in East Liverpool. A single Chime and new Spencer blower were added for the temple. The organ was installed in a balcony with part of the floor cut lower so the organ sill and tubing didn't have to be altered. where it was used until circa 1947 when the blower motor supposedly burned out and the organ was junked.
