Opus

This little organ was removed from the church on Feb. 17-19, 2005, and
now rests in storage in Brattleboro, VT.
The pipework is in original condition, as is the rest of the
instrument. Certainly, it will probably need releathering.
The console has the Estey wooden stop relays, which appear to be in
good condition.
The stop tabs are of some sort of plastic material which has
deteriorated badly. They are very
brittle and curled upward (strange).
The organ has 2 sets of swell shades and 2 swell motors, plus blower,
tremolo and rectifier.
The bottom octaves of both the Diapason and Viola ranks have Haskell
pipes.
My preference is that this organ go to a small church or chapel to
enhance their services.
The original chamber dimensions were: 8' W x 8'2" D x 11' H.
A new chamber could be somewhat shallower, as there was liberal spacing
between the chest
and the swell shades.
