Notes
The organ
is installed in a ceiling-level chamber at the rear of the
church. The console is at the front on the right side
and the organist faces across the chancel with the congregation to
their left.
The stop rail was
altered and the console upgraded to solid state in 1994 by Balcom and
Vaughan.
Tonal changes were also made. On the Great, the 8' Dulciana was
replaced with a 4' Octave, and there are
5 blank stoptablets for future additions. On the Swell, a 4' Harmonic
Flute was added and there are two blank stoptablets for future
additions. The Pedal added an 8' Bourdon from the 16' Bourdon, but no
extension pipes were added, so it only plays for 20 notes. The Pedal
also has 4 blank stoptablets for future additions. The coupler
driver is also now solid state as is the combination action. 12 general
pistons were installed, but no divisional pistons. A single, 4-level
memory was also added.
