Notes: The sanctuary, a trademark design by Harold Wagoner, was completed in 1963 and the organ dedicated on May 17, 1964. Typical of most Wagoner designs, the organ and choir are way over to one side – in this case, the right side. The main organ is located in a large chamber above and behind the choir. The console is located behind the pulpit and facing the choir. The Antiphonal is located at balcony rail level, but way over to one side between the side aisle entry door and the side wall. The Trompette en Chamade, which was added in 1965, is located almost at ceiling level, high in its own little gallery-ette above the large balcony. The 1250-seat sanctuary is fairly live, but not hugely reverberant. The organ sounds quite wonderful when the listener is close to the front. The church has nearly 3,000 members.
