Notes: From the July 1961 issue of The Diapason: "The [church] dedicated its 31-rank Aeolian-Skinner organ in a service of Holy Communion March 30. The dedicatory recital was played by Brookes M. Davis, minister of music, on April 23. The main organ is separated in chambers on either side of the chancel. A sheer fiberglass curtain hangs in front of the chambers. It can be opened for recitals, exposing the Great pipe work and swell chambers." Organ Historical Society Database: https://pipeorgandatabase.org/OrganDetails.php?OrganID=35653 |
