Notes: The contract for 1255 was for a new console for the existing Estey organ in the old building. Instead, the console was installed with 1255-B, a new Aeolian-Skinner, in the gallery of the new sanctuary. No records can be found of the additions done as 1255-B, but they are presumed to be the two stops indicated above. Tonal changes were made by Michael Quimby and John Hendrikson in 1990; a new four-manual console by David Harris was added at that time. The old console was relocated to St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Organ Historical Society Database: https://pipeorgandatabase.org/OrganDetails.php?OrganID=35450 |
