Notes: At the Green Organ, the 8' Diapason's low 12 were derived; the 8' Stopped Diapason was divided 28B/30T; the 8' Dulciana was treble; the 4' Principal was divided 28B/30T; the III was divided 28B/30T (one was called Sesquialtera and the other Cornet.

The organ was originally installed in 1937 as a 2/13.  It was enlarged in 1939 as 3/37 Op. 968-A with the inclusion of a 1785 Samuel Green organ imported from London.  The Green organ was installed in a shallow gallery above the altar and was also playable from its own console.  It was purchased because it closely replicated an organ installed in the church in 1755; it is the only division visible from the nave.

There was some rebuilding by E. M. Skinner & Son in 1942, before it was greatly enlarged by Aeolian-Skinner in 1955 as Op. 968-B, with a new four-manual console.  The March 1953 issue of The Diapason said that the Great, Positiv and Pedal were to be installed on the east gallery over the altar and the Swell and Choir would speak through new and enlarged grillwork from the attic of the church, with the Antiphonal placed on the second floor of the tower at the west end of the church.

Kinzey-Angerstein added a new Positiv in the vacant Green case, renamed the Positiv as Brustwerk and added a Trumpet to the Great.
