Notes: At the Green Organ, the 8' Diapason's low 12 were derived; the 8' Stopped Diapason was divided 28B/30T; the 8' Dulciana was treble; the 4' Principal was divided 28B/30T; the III was divided 28B/30T (one was called Sesquialtera and the other Cornet. The organ was originally installed in
1937 as a 2/13. It was enlarged in 1939 as 3/37 Op. 968-A with
the inclusion of a 1785 Samuel Green organ imported from London. The
Green organ was installed in a shallow gallery above the altar and
was also playable from its own console. It was purchased because
it closely replicated an organ installed in the church in 1755; it
is the only division visible from the nave. Organ Historical Society Database: https://pipeorgandatabase.org/OrganDetails.php?OrganID=25571 |
