Notes: St. Alban's Chapel began in 1931 as a mission of Diocese of Los Angeles. It became a parish in 1941, at which time the present nave was built. The official name of the parish is St. Alban's Episcopal Church - Bishop Johnson Memorial. The Bishop's son, Reginald Johnson, a renowned architect who designed many prominent local buildings, designed the initial church facility.
