St. Augustine Church
The two-manual ca.1900 George Kilgen organ at St. Augustine Church is being resurrected for a demonstration on Thursday morning, July 9.
The Kilgen tracker installed in the rear gallery most likely dates from when the building was remodeled for use by St. Augustine’s congrega-tion. The organ’s reservoir still has its original leather, though it is failing rapidly. Currently unused by the church, the organ will be receiving restorative repairs prior to our arrival.
