Description of Optional Day

Friday, July 19
We encourage you to stay late, as our post-convention offerings should not be missed!

Trip to Fort Worth
(includes recitals, lecture, lunch, and dinner)

Join us for an exciting day in the Fort Worth area. An air-conditioned coach bus will take us from our hotel to Bedford, TX and St. Vincent’s Anglican Cathedral to hear the Roy A. Redman (Organ Co.) Opus 66, 1994. A stop at the Fort Worth’s Trinity Park will feature a 5-mile ride on the Fort Worth Miniature Railroad which is about as old as the OHS! The Woodshed Smokehouse is our next stop for a sumptuous lunch prepared by celebrity chef Tim Love. Afternoon activities include demonstration recitals at Broadway Baptist Church (Casavant Frères – 5m) and Holy Family Catholic Church (Rubin S. Frels, Opus 17, 1971) as well as a shop stop at Roy Redman’s facility. Dine at your own pace and pick up a last-minute souvenir at the Forth Worth Stockyards before returning to the Dallas convention hotel. A "Fort-Worth-it" day!
